GT Legacy Inc. ("GT Legacy", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to enquiries and applications you send us through it.

Who is responsible for your information

GT Legacy Inc. is the organisation responsible for the personal information described in this policy. We are based in Ontario, Canada, and we handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation.

What we collect

Information you choose to send us

If you contact us through this website, you choose what to send. Our contact form asks for your name, email address, phone number, the type of enquiry, and your message. Only name, email, and message are required.

Our contact form does not submit to a server. When you press send, the form opens your own email application with the message pre-filled and addressed to us. Nothing is transmitted or stored by this website — you are simply sending us an ordinary email, and you can edit or cancel it before it goes. We then hold that email the same way we hold any other correspondence.

Recruitment and partnership enquiries

If you apply to join GT Legacy or approach us about a partnership, we collect what you send us — typically your contact details, work history, and anything else in your application or CV — along with notes from any interviews or conversations that follow.

Information collected automatically

This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or any other tracking technology. We do not build profiles of visitors, and there is nothing on this site to opt out of.

Like any website, pages are delivered by a web host, and hosting providers commonly record standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and the time of a request in their server logs.

Third parties this website contacts

Some parts of this site are loaded from other companies' servers. When your browser fetches them, it necessarily reveals your IP address and basic browser information to those companies. We do not control what they do with it, and their own privacy policies apply:

• Google Fonts — supplies the typefaces used across the site (Google Privacy Policy).
• Unsplash and Squarespace CDN — host some of the photography used on our pages.

Our social media icons are ordinary links. They send no information anywhere unless you click them, at which point the relevant platform's own privacy policy governs.

How we use your information

• To answer your enquiry and stay in touch about it
• To assess applications and manage recruitment
• To arrange and manage partnerships with brands and sales companies
• To meet our legal, regulatory, and record-keeping obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing purposes.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only where it is needed for the purposes above:

• Independent sales companies in our network. GT Legacy acts as a broker between brands and independently owned sales companies. Where your application or enquiry is relevant to one of them, we may pass your details on so they can follow up with you directly. Those companies are separate businesses and are responsible for their own handling of your information.
• Service providers who work on our behalf, such as email, hosting, and IT support, and only to the extent needed to do that work.
• Authorities or advisers where we are required to disclose by law, or where we need to establish or defend a legal claim.

Storage and international transfer

Personal information we hold may be stored or processed outside Canada, including in the United States, because the service providers we rely on operate internationally. Where that happens, the information may be subject to the laws of the country it is held in, including lawful access requests by courts and government authorities there.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as the law requires us to. Enquiries that do not lead anywhere are deleted once they are no longer useful; records tied to a working relationship are kept for as long as that relationship lasts and for a reasonable period afterwards.

Keeping it secure

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorised access. This site is served over an encrypted connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — please avoid sending sensitive information such as financial details or government identifiers by email.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law you can:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy
• Ask us to correct anything inaccurate or incomplete
• Withdraw your consent to our use of it, subject to legal limits
• Ask us to delete information we no longer have a reason to keep
• Complain about how we have handled it

To make any of these requests, email us athr@gtlegacy.com. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will respond within the time limits set by law — normally 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact theOffice of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Children

This website is intended for adults and for people of working age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised, and the current version is always the one published on this page. Significant changes will be highlighted here.
